Most of the time we only see what we want to see.
And this video is a great demonstration of that.
The kids have all watched the same video only moments before they were asked, about it.
However as you can see, everyone saw something different.
A few saw (with confidence), what was actually there. Something to think about.
It is not a recount of what happened days, weeks, months or years ago.
It was literally less than five minutes before, yet we have all these different birds and animals, from skunks 🦨 to a seal 🦭, than the dog, that actually jumped behind Bill.
Of course all the kids wanted to get it right, and so, some of them were quite surprised when they were told what it actually was.
It all stems from the way we see the world,
Whether we’re actually paying attention, plus the lens through which we interpret situations.
Interpretations that can help us live a happy or an unhappy life.
This is a safe space and so the kids are allowed to get it wrong, and learn from the experience.
A lot of pain has been caused through this, were people genuinely recount situations that weren’t actually the “reality.”
